Supplementary angles : Solved Examples

Right Angle Acute Angle Obtuse Angle Zero Angle Straight Angle
Complementary Angles Supplementary angles Adjacent Angles Vertical / Vertical Opposite Angles Linear Pair

Check the following pair and write which are supplementary angles?

In Pair(1) :
Sum of angles = 90° + 158° = 248°

In Pair(2) :
Sum of angles = 133° + 47° = 180°

In Pair(3) :
Sum of angles = 164° + 84° = 248°

So, in pair(1) & pair(3), angles are not supplementary because the sum of their angles is greater than equal to 180°

And angles in pair(2), are supplementary as their sum is equals to 180°
