Divisibility Principle of 5 Divisibility Principle of 6 Divisibility Principle of 8 Divisibility Principle of 9 More Divisibility Rules

Definition :-
Divisibility Principle of Whole Number 3 is a two step process:-
Step.1) Firstly, add all the digits of the given number.
Step.2) Secondly, if the added resultant number is the multiple of 3, then the given number is divisible by 3 and vice-versa.
In Simple words, If the sum of the digits of the given numbers is divisible by 3, then the given number is divisible by 3.

Below are few example for your understanding about Divisilibity Principle of 3.

Example 1 = Is 27 divisible by 3 ?
Answer = Firstly, add the digits of the given num
2 + 7 = 9
Since, 9 is divisible by 3, so the given number 27 is also divisible by 3.

Example 2 = Is 94 divisible by 3 ?
Answer = Firstly, add the digits of the given num
9 + 4 = 13
Since, 13 is not divisible by 3, so the given number 94 is also not divisible by 3.

Example 3 = Is 549 divisible by 3 ?
Answer = Firstly, add the digits of the given num
5 + 4 + 9 = 18
Since, 18 is divisible by 3, so the given number 549 is also divisible by 3.

Example 4 = Is 357 divisible by 3 ?
Answer = Firstly, add the digits of the given num
3 + 5 + 8 = 16
Since, 16 is not divisible by 3, so the given number 358 is also not divisible by 3.

Example 5 = Is 8345 divisible by 3 ?
Answer = Firstly, add the digits of the given num
8 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 20
Since, 16 is not divisible by 3, so the given number 358 is also not divisible by 3.

Example 6 = Is 8250 divisible by 3 ?
Answer = Firstly, add the digits of the given num
8 + 2 + 5 + 0 = 15
Since, 15 is divisible by 3, so the given number 8250 is also divisible by 3.
