Multiplication on the Number line

Addition on the Number line Subtraction on the Number line Multiplication on the Number line Integers on Number Line Addition of Integers on Number Line
Subtraction of Integers on Number Line Compare Natural Numbers on Number Line Compare Integers on Number Line

To understand How to do addition on number line, study the following examples:

Example 1 - Solve and show (5 X 2) on number line

Since we have to multiply "5" with "2", so we start with "0' and jump five units to the right & reach at number "5". Now again, from number "5" jump five units to the right and we reach at number "10". And we know (5 X 2) = 10.

Example 2 - Solve and show (2 X 3) on number line

Since we have to multiply "2" with "3", so we start with "0' and jump two units to the right & reach at number "2". Again jump two units from number "2" and reach at 4. Once again jump two units from number "4" and reach at number "6". And we know (2 X 3) = 6.

Example 3 - Solve and show (3 X 3) on number line

Since we have to multiply "3" with "3", so we start with "0' and jump (three times) three units to the right and we reach at number "9". And we know (3 X 3) = 3.
